So an SRB terminal says that Ayo is acting director. Has Zimmer been gone since Fallout 3 or is he just off on a new excursion? Purposefully vague so as not to conflict with Fallout 3 playthroughs? One would think they wouldn't be so optimistic after 10 years and have parsed titles like "acting" director...

I'm pretty sure if it had been 10 years without Dr. Zimmer checking it, he'd be assumed dead by now. He's more than likely just gone on other business.

So it canonizes the idea that the LW didn't kill him, but not what happened to Harkness.
