I do not know what to do or what to fix. I get an error message that says:
1608: Unable to create InstallDriver instance,
Return Code: -2147221021
Please reply.
Posted: Fri Jun 28, 2013 4:51 pmThis game may be old enough that it has to be installed away from Program Files or Program Files (X86)
Instead, use a directory you create like C:\Games, then put a folder in there for the game. Even better, move Steam there so any older game will not have fits with the UAC.
It maybe that the Doom BFG version was made to install on the newer OS's, so that might be a possibility in the end.
