Trying to launch EU beta, saying that my computer is not authorized, asking for access code from email. But I am not getting any emails with access code.

Anybody has similar problem?

*** SOLUTION FOR THE PROBLEM ***

Found a way how to solve this problem and to receive an email. Not sure if it will work for all

The in game code seems not to work, so do the following.

1- go to https://account.elderscrollsonline.com/

2- you will be asked for same code.

3- you will get the code this time

4- enter the code and continue to account section

5- enter your game and it will not ask for code again.

Does it say eu specific in the launcher?

I played last beta on US, now I changed to EU in options.

Nothing else changed in launcher, no updates, no extra downloads. But in options it is set to EU now.

Is switch to EU that simple?

Name of my folder of ESO at the moment is "The Elder Scrolls Online"
Version: eso.live.1.0.0.913296

Hi ya m8 .

i just updated the Client too, it also asked for a pass-key, after checking my email i too could not find a new pass-passkey in the ESO email to fridays event

just to confirm it happen to me too

Just tried now, it did not help.

It is not asking me for beta key, it is asking me for computer verification code that I have to receive on my email.

It did arrive before, I am wondering if it does not arrive now because beta is not live yet?

All I can suggest is making sure noreply@mail.elderscrollsonline.com is added as a trusted email address and use the please resend option. This happened to me last night when I logged in so beta not being live isn't the issue.

So they EU beta is live now? I mean we can log in and play?

Also I did not see "please resend option"

All I have is Submit and Cancel, then it says that if I did not get code I have to try again in 10 minutes. I tried already 3 times every 10 minutes, but it never arrived :(

noreply@mail.elderscrollsonline.com is in safe emails, I previously received codes in last beta tests.

now my client will not update

should i uninstall and download a new client ?

would i get a new passkey ?

hmmm now i am getting a ~~ Error 206 - PatchManifesterror_UnzipFail

tried repair ~~ Same error !!

Doesn't work for me either. noreply@mail.elderscrollsonline.com is on my safe senders list, and there's no code in my inbox or junk email. I never have any issues receiving such emails from any other site.

I don't see a "please resend" option other than trying to log in again (which produces no code).

It has nothing to do with the invite to the beta event. It's a security feature. They are telling you that they are not aware of your account using the specific network and location where are you just lauched the launcher. You will receive a code via email that you copy and paste, which will unlock your account.

Check all your folders, check your spam.

I wouldn't worry just yet either, they might have shut the one time password server with everyone trying to login. So you might not get anything until the beta starts. If you get prompted for the pass code on friday and don't get anything, then start worrying hehe.

Now I am ready for Friday beta ;)

Everything is updated, computer is recognized, just need the server to go live.

This time I will be playing EU, I hope not to have same lags as on US. On last US beta test, 50% of the time I had 10 seconds delay.

You might want to sign up for a Connection service. Can't remember the one I use but it's only a few dollars a month and what I get is a short hop tunnelled connection to games. I'm sure they'll have ESO. Reduces lag a lot.

  • Logging into my account there does not ask for a code and I am able to log into my account just fine
  • If I pretend that I do not remember my username, I am able to ask the accounts page to send me my user name and that email does arrive without issue
  • Attempting to log into the game via the ESO client still asks for a code
  • No code email is sent
  • I have @mailer.elderscrollsonline.com added as a safe sender
  • Nothing in my inbox or junk email
  • I never have any issues receiving such emails from any other web site
