How do you use the cropping pictures feature to reduce the size of picture in url to make a avatar. I've saved url, but no luck cropping the picture.

Never mind, url was not valid. Will postpone getting an avatar for now.

Cropping and resizing are technically not the same thing... Do you want to remove part of the picture, or are you happy with it but just want to resize it for avatar? Anyway, you can crop in paint. Don't remember if paint can resize too though, I do that either in ps or photofilter.

https://www.gimp.org/ is a free picture manipulation software that both crop and resize pictures. Will that help?

Also, depending on where you want your avatar, you may need a photo site to host it (web address), or upload it directly to the site
