Electronic Arts (EA): It's clear now remasters are a thing

I don't think people understand how poorly recieved a Morrowind REMASTER would be...

Morrowind is an ancient game. It is quite literally from another time. A remaster (not a remake) would have the same clunky combat mechanics and no new comer would enjoy it.

Take off your rose tinted goggles and realize this fact. YOU, the Morrowind elite fan might be okay with it, but the masses would not. Therefore it'd be a huge financial failure in terms of sales and no developer is going to do that, if they're smart.

As usual, I agree with Freddo. It can really make a game fresh again.

You're not the only one. Thank goodness for difficulty options. Combat is something I have always been rubbish at.

If they were smart remasters should include content that was cut due to time constraints

I don't know. For me it depends on the game that's being remastered for me to actually want it.

I guess remasters are great for those that want them. I really could not care less, unless like funnybunny pointed out, the games were actually "old."

I'd gladly buy remasters of games prior to HD monitors (1920x1080 resolution). I still have fun in many old games, but trying to play them on my HD monitor really svcks :)

Well if it wasn't for remasters I would not be playing one of my all time favorite games, Age of Empires 2 HD version.

So yeah, I'm 100% behind remastered games.

ohh my god, I hate it when I am playing an old game, and it tries to auto-upscale the resolution to my HD displays resolution.. the stretching of textures/models/sprites is down right cringey half the time

"if it's a remake of a classic, RENT THE CLASSIC!"

Why is it so hard to just keep things? I still have my snes, n64, and GameCube. I don't need remasters because I have the originals!

Some people in different parts of the world live in houses that are to small to keep a lot of things like video games consoles and TV's.

Like in apartments in small European countries or in Asia.

A lot of people on this planet live in places that are to crowded and don't have big houses or a lot of space in their house.

Because I live in a condo with my wife. I cannot speak for anyone else but when it comes to remasters I am a viable customer.

That's a rubbish excuse. I live in a 600 sq foot apartment with my wife and you can keep 3 consoles plus controllers and games in one small box. I do.

You don't have one small box?

Nope. Not even one itsy bitsy tiny box. Instead I have one console with a big hard drive! Saves space on game discs too!

I wish i would have kept my snes and n64. As a kid i didn't have the forethought to box them up. I think they all got tossed out when my folks moved. Personally i hope Nintendo makes a little mini snes like they are doing (did?) with the nes.

I like the all digital approach i've had to game purchases these last few years, even if my pc craps out all my games are just a download away.
