You're officially Hircine's [censored].

Hopefully this brings back the final section of Bloodmoon. Reversing that and making Hircine YOUR [censored]

I heard we lose health if we do not kill an NPC and we transform back quicker into human form. I don't know if it's true. I hope lunar transformations make it into the final version!

You don't lose health, you just transform back quicker.

Can anyone other than Pete confirm that it can be done first person? It's not that I don't trust him, but he's been wrong before and many people still insist that it can only be done third person.

Ah so, instead of being a curse, lycanthropey in Skyrim is something your nerfing yourself if you dont get because the only drawback is not getting well rested from bed.

I'm glad its in the game, but disappointed I have to rp any negatives of the curse.

Guys, after seeing footage, I can confirm that werewolves are ONLY IN THIRD PERSON. After the power is activated, the transformation animation occurs, which is in third person. Then, the character is locked in third person for the duration of the transformation.
Extra detail: werewolves have a power called "Song of Blood" which acts like Demoralize, and can be cast repeatedly. It doesn't work on all enemies, however.

How do you know there are no cons to being a werewolf?

Another thing, both stamina and stamina regen get a massive boost as a werewolf. Travelling in werewolf form is pretty much like riding a horse.

It was low-res footage, so I could be wrong. But I'm pretty sure that was the name.

Was it song of the blood or song of the beast blood?''

I know the circle refers to lycanthropey as both the blood and the beast blood

The name wasn't that long. Definitely "Song of Blood."

Your character will automatically run after anything thrown, this is a completely involuntary action and completely overrides anything your doing including combat so it can without question be an annoyance.

I lol'd!

I found new Werewolf information and werewolf cure!

Spoiler
Question: Any word on the drawbacks of being a werewolf? Do you transform every night, need to feed etc?

lol man, I only went into beast form ONCE till now. That too was the forced transformation the first time. But I think you keep losing health unless you feed on an NPC, & when your health gets to 0, you revert back to human form. And you cannot get the rested bonus after sleep in Werewolf form. You gotto keep feeding to keep yourself in beast form. And cooldown for it is 1 day I think.

Also, in human form you have 100% disease immunity, as long as you're infected. Thats about it I guess...

Cure: The CURE for Lycanthropy is like this. : When you're given the quest to kill Glenmoril witches & chop their heads off, choose to kill them all instead of just 1.

Then once you reach the room with the burning blue fire & conduct the necessary business ( am not gonna spoil it all ), you can use the heads of the dead witches to permanently remove your Lycanthropy.

Also, 2 of the questgivers want you to remove their lycanthropy in a similar way, so it's recommended that you kill all witches in the cave ( you'll know what I'm talking about when you see it ).

Lastly, the girl Aela wants to stay in werewolf form & retrieve a Totem Of Hircine from a cave. after you go through all the hard work, you bring it to the UnderForge, where its set on a pedestal & is supposed to modify your abilities when in werewolf form. But I haven't tried it yet.

Thanks for your time.

Only read the first few lines of that because it went into super-spoiler territory after that, but it *seems* like involuntary transformations exist at some point, which is wonderful.

Hmmm, that is an interesting way of designing werewolf play. That sounds pretty promising.

I'm still worried the werewolf animations will be awful though...

Plus I have a bellyache and no Ice cream :sadvaultboy:

It does sound awesome!

Spoiler
I wonder what he meant by modifty werewolf abilities? Also, a totem of Hircine? Good to know Hircine somehow has more references to werewolves this time aroud. It would be a real good nostalgia to add "The Totem of Claw and Fang" we were tasked to protect as a werewolf in Bloodmoon. Nice that we get to see the Witches of Glenmoril once more...and we have to kill them this time around. I rememeber writing a fanfic about my werewolf characters killing a small group of renegade witches for Hircine. If you know lore, witches of Glenmoril serve and worship Hircine, I wonder why they have to die this time around :celebration:
