What is the end all be all set of Rogue armor?

Is there anything in the game better than Ciercos armor? I'd rather not my character have to look like a jester forever........

I figure this can't possibly be it considering its armor rating is 0 , but the other stats on it are unbeatable...

Dis-enchant it? then use those enchantments on some other armor?

I dont think you can, I have never seen the option to disenchant brotherhood armor.

Anyway, there is better stuff, from another guild, dont worry.

I am trying to look through the skyrim wikia page , I see Nightingale armor (Looks cool) but the stats on half of it are actually innapropriate... I do wonder can you disenchant armor and then put the stats on top of armor that already has stats then? Or can you only move the stats to blank generic armors?

I haven't found Cicero's* armor myself but I just checked it from elder scrolls wiki and it's definetely not the best "rogue" armor out there.

Beware of thieves guild spoiler:

Spoiler

You get an armor called Nightingale armor about halfway through Thieves Guild and it's a light armor with better enchantments than Cicero's armor (except Cicero's hat has better enchantment than Nightingale hood, imo)
I also used my beast alchemy/smithing to make it better than a legendary dragonscale armor with 100 smithing improvements.
And personally I use Nightingale armor except the hood and wear "Krosis" dragon priest mask that has triple enchantment that all benefit my rogue and used smithing to make it legendary too. My armor rating is around 400 without many perks and the enchantments benefit my character and I can pretty much kill anything in Master difficulty with some planning.

P.S It also looks great, the mask sticks out a bit but I like it a lot.

When you disenchant something it is destroyed. Nightingale looks the best from what I've seen. Haven't aquired it yet though.

Like I said, I could be wrong, but I am 99% sure you can't disenchant it. I know i have disenchanted many items before and had brotherhood armor in my inventory and it was not an option.

Edit: just do what I do, I kept like 2 items from his amor, and use them sparingly only when i need them.

Man I guess I gotta look into the crafting skills some more eh? Alchemy somehow making gear better? Sheesh... I gotta look into this stuff

Off the topic but I saw pictures of the Daedric heavy armor and HOLY CRAP! Makes me pretty excited to make a heavy armor character and work out some of this disenchanting and re-enchanting you guys mention on a set of that O_o.... but even more off topic I just got Saints Row 3 as well and I feel wrong about not even playing it... lol... I think I should force myself to play through Saints Row before making a heavy armor Skyrim playthrough... and the new WWE game is out next week.... too many good new games in too small of a timeframe......
