from morrowind vampire embrace, forgot the name but there was one where you could sail a ship. World of Warcraft Orc faces.

Edit: Eh saw zanderboys post too late.

There was a mod for Morrowind called "Weapon Fix." Unlike TADS for Morrowind or MOBS for Oblivion, it tossed out the JRPG-style "obvious upgrade" progression of the material types, in favor of more realistic material properties. Glass was sharp, light, but brittle. Dwemer didn't do significantly more damage than steel, but lasted ten times longer. Upgrading wasn't always a no-brainer, depending on your character and play style. There was a matching mod for armors. More than once I've been tempted to produce something like this myself, for Oblivion.

I'm not sure if there's underlying support for item durability in Skyrim, which makes it a little tougher to provide enough variety to make all the materials unique. Still, worth thinking about.

Children Of Morrowind.

Children Of Cirodil.

Yep, let's bring on the children from the other races. :goodjob:

There are many to think of. Open Cities, All Natural, a creature overhaul like MMM, etc. One I'd especially love to see is Enhanced Quest Roleplaying by Lingwei. There are too many quests in Skyrim where the player can only accept the quest and not refuse it without exiting the conversation. And there are many quests that could be solved in different ways, such as selling out criminals to the city guards or using Speech to barter a better reward. And other dialogue options to simply know more about the quest rather than "Here's your quest and the quest marker. Bye."

I agree with this totally. The quest system is a little lazy, and I didn't like the railroading system in Oblivion either that most quests, once undertaken, had but one solution. Double crossing your quest giver or such wasn't an option, or deciding to root out and destroy the thieves guild, for example. At least there's a LITTLE of this in Skyrim, but not nearly enough.

Better Cities, definitely.

Unique Landscapes, even though Skyrim doesn't seem to need it nearly as badly as Oblivion did.

An Unofficial Patch would be very nice right about now...

I'm going to continue giving a different answer every time someone asks something like this.

-DarkUI. The UI is actually pretty (if crap for say, USING), but for consistency, I want it to look like my MW and OB installs.
-Hunt Cliff Racers to Extinction/Fewer Random Oblivion Gates (I'm sure you can guess what the third installment is.)
-That massive robe replacer.
-Colored enemy health bars. Completely pointless. Never play without it.

tejon, that mod sounds awesome.

The Marc Antony gay romance companion from Morrowind. <3 <3 <3

I was writing for an Oblivion version of this mod but the guy that was doing the CS for it did a dissapearing act so I was left with dialogue and quest line for a mod that never got finished. Sadly.

For myself there are many things I would like to see...

The hardcoe mods like Realistic Sleep, Eating, Thirst etc. Also pretty much everything by AlienSlof and Nivea. The Better Body mods as well.

EDIT:
Can't believe I forgot DarN UI. Lol.

We need a "Skyrim Comes Alive" and a "Skyrim Guards Names."

I feel so rude addressing every guard I meet as "Guard."

first thing that comes to mind is that arrow mod...forget the exact name...but it gave you a "grappling arrow" that would generate a climbable rope from wherever it hit, also a sleeping gas arrow, a flammable oil arrow, and maybe one or two more. Especially the rope arrow, that was kick ass.

EDIT: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=9655 is the one.

of course, the eat/drink/sleep mods along with placeable equipments (bed rolls, campfire, etc.).

Flying mounts!

Martigans Monster Mods!!!!!!!

I've most recently been playing Fo3, there's a TON of mods that could be brought over from the Wasteland to Skyrim, mostly logistical stuff that would translate between genres (no sniper rifles/power armor of course.) I'm talking Primary Needs, Sharing Caring Companions, Placeable Equipment, Real Time Settler, among others.

Sadly, the guys who did RTS has pretty much retired completely. I'm really really hoping that someone will come up with something comparable for Skyrim, but it's a pretty fooking huge and complex project.

We already have some sweet new swords from Jaysus, and there's bound to be alot of new armor/weapons models coming, so that area should be good.

I'll probably just make my own player-housing mod, but there's sure to be more of those than anyone gonna want, lol!
