What moment in Skyrim has been the best for you so far? What has taken your breath away, shocked you, left you speechless? Basically, what one moment made all the hours of gameplay worthwhile?

For me:

I leave the College of Winterhold. Nasty looking dragon lands in right front of me. Long battle ensues. I get the dragon weak with arrows, dragon lands in the College courtyard. I pull out the Bound Sword spell and conjour up my purple glowing sword. Run at the dragon, hack at his face, and then cut scene to me climbing onto the dragons's head and using my conjoured sword to slay the beast. It was so cool looking. I was blown away. I think I liked it most because I thought the cut scene was actually going to be the dragon eating me, but no such luck for the dragon. That's my favorite moment so far. What's yours?

me? First time I notice you dont have to be completly hidden to get the sneak attack bonus, and thus enjoying one shooting a confused, pissed off bandit.

My best moment was easily hunting around Mokthal in a blizzard. It was just incredibly atmospheric.

So far mine is the first time I beat a dragon by myself a young mage. It was so awesome!!!

Frost dragons = no problem

Being hit so hard by a giant that I flew about 15000 feet into the air. FAIL. And marrying Mjoll the Lioness.

My favourite moment so far was my first encounter with a Spriggan. She used her command animal power and this caused elk and foxes to attack me but after I killed her the elk and foxes were all standing like statues staring at me and it really felt like I was a cowboy walking through a canyon whilst the indians stare them down.

Such a surreal experience and hard to explain.

When I first started the game, I rode the carriage down to helgen... and then the horse started spazzing, its leg went behind its head, the carriage started spinning and flipping rapidly, and all of a sudden I was underwater somewhere.

My first fight against a Wisp Mother, 5 minutes ago, at level 6.

Holy crap that was intense.

I was running through the town Dragon Bridge while in werewolf form and i killed a guard, when i transformed back to my normal form i walked back to the town and i hear a little boy say "Look mom a dead body"! It was so cute.

mine was much more simple. walking through the forest and a moose was getting attacked by 2 wolves so I sprint towards them and jump a little hill/ditch thing while grabbing my bow and going from 3rd to 1st view and everything is in slow-motion as I have the zoom perk and take out the two wolves and saved the moose lol

everything just blended perfectly like i was watching a film. got me rejuvenated into the game

when a dragon swooped down and engaged in close combat with a giant mudcrab ghost... and i kid you not the dragon FLED IN DEFEAT.

you see, it was the same dragon that had been flying over all of whiterun for awhile now, shouting and hollering to scare everyone but never attacking. but when the giant ghost crab (if you dont know about it, i wond spoil what its from...) took up residence, the dragon had to defend its territory. but alas, he was all bark and no bite, and flew away after the fight went on long enough. i killed the mudcrab, but couldnt see the dragon anymore; he had fled the area in disgrace. several hours of gameplay later, i came across a dragon near marthal as i was exiting a dungeon high in the mountains, flying around and yelling just as before, still afraid to actually fight back, until a stronger blood dragon swooped up, then he decided to team up and i had a pretty damn epic dual dragon fight. of course, me being amazing, the blood dragon came crashing dead into a little dwemer terrace oddly placed up in the mountains, and the cowardly one, appropriately yellowish in color, was all alone. a quick shout of YOR grounded him on the edge of the mountain, and a few sprinting power attacks sent his corpse careening down the mountain, burning away into nothingness as i absorbed what was easily the most pathetic dragon soul in the species...

was attacked by a dragon just outside riften , it took out a couple guards and was blasting me so i ran into riften , on the other side of the load screen it followed and landed on one of the roofs in riften and started fire blasting the town. about 20 people or more started attacking it til it fell off the roof. free dragon soul.

traveling from the underground sanctuary(fix the tree in whiterun quest), down to Ivarstead. very nice high vista views. just a nice looking area. actually the sanctuary itself is cool too.

well, my favorite moment was this insanely cool dragon fight. I walked out of the inn in winterhold and this big swooping blood dragon comes flying out and we were fighting and this big battle ensues. all these soldiers were getting set ablazin and they mostly all died. but not me! i saw him land and i chopped at his wings and then he tried to fly off. but his wings had holes and then he crashed in the big ravine and i had to take this long way down. but then i used whirlwind sprint and avoided his fire shout and hacked away at his head with my elven sword enchanted with 14 point shock damage. i finally killed him with a cutscene of me chopping away at his head in my full suit of my elven armor. i thirirally enjoy all the dragon fights. thank you bethesda

1. Early in the game with my first character, an NPC named "fugitive" asked me to hold something for him - an axe. He said he'd look for me later to get it back.

2. Some time later, I pvssyd with a hunter who said he was tracking a thief who stole his axe. One of my dialogue options was to give it
back to him (which I did, being such a great guy and all).

3. Maybe 5 or 10 minutes later, I see an NPC chasing another one. I pursued, and saw it was the hunter chasing the 'fugitive' who had stolen his axe.

That was my first experience with how the game was going to be, and it blew my mind.
