Where are my dragons?

Sometimes i find that i just cant get any random dragon encounters... why is this? I don't even fast travel that much. Sometimes when i do find them they completely ignore me.

You actually encounter them much more if you fast-travel.. i have completed the main quest and they come all the time.. but if i don't fast travel and just run to my destination, then not so much.

really? And does completing the main quest change anything?

Yeah it is said that after the main quest is complete, alot more dragons will spawn.. And that is very true, i almost can't fast travel anywhere without a dragon encounter.. But you can see the difference fast-traveling or not :smile:

wow.... guess ill finish the quest on my character then, i've beaten it before and just skip it on my new characters

Good spots to FT to for a dragon attack: Solitude Sawmill, Loreius Farm, Deadmans Respite. You can also go to dragon lairs, but if you've been there before and killed the dragon, then you won't get his soul the second time round.

Where are you on the MQ?

On my 2nd character I did the MQ up to (but don't do it) A Blade in the Dark and I never got randoms until I progressed it.
