If one day you woke up to find that your whole reality had flipped and you existed in the Elder Scrolls universe which race do you think you would be and why?

I think I'd be a Breton and I'll get back to you on why.

(Don't forget the other races that are mentioned through lore but aren't necessarily seen).

Nord or Breton, since Nords is (mainly) influenced by Norse culture, and I believe Bretons are mainly based of Celtic culture. My ancestry is Swedish (I also live in Sweden), but I have some influences of Walloon (southern Belgium) in my heritage.

Of those two, I would probably be a Nord though.

MAYBe a Dunmer just because i do like destruction magic and Swords so that puts me up there with theme and i also feel that i would be an elf so yeah im with them!!Also the behavior its also much like mine!

I'd love to be one of the interesting races like a Mer or beast race.

Breton, most likely because it always seemed apporpriate, im english so the way there government is run -kings, lords and such- is pretty similar to Medieval England.
Plus i have "ancestors" who were actual Bretons -and before anyone gets the wrong idea i mean the real life type not computer generated-.

Or Altmer because i think political oppresion is fun!!

Breton. They're kind of overlooked and have various Celtic influences (both Continental and Insular). They're oriented toward intellectual and magical pursuits. They don't seem to be particularly religious.

And the Forsworn are related to them, and they look wicked cool (and worship Daedra apparently, although I'm not sure on this, as only in-game npcs have mentioned such worship.) In fact, I probably lean more toward Forsworn since Skyrim...and they remind me of ancient Celts and Picts. I have a lot of Celtic heritage, so this stuff really stands out for me. Yes, they are crazy and violent. But they look so different that I can't help but like them.

Think I should start rp'ing one of my characters as the daughter of a Breton and a secret Forsworn agent...

Since my ancestry is of a mix of Swedish, Norwegian, German and Belgian/Flemish (maybe with a hint of French and Finnish as well), I'd say Nord or Breton. Judging from my looks, interests and personality, probably Breton.

Breton - short, pale-skinned, smart, eccentric, not so physically imposing. All about me.

Same, here. I don't know if I'm pale skinned(I'm don't go outside much, so probably am and can't tell) but I am far from being someone you would be afraid of. I haven't punched anyone out of anger since the fourth grade and I hate to sound like I'm bragging, but I have a high IQ and am quite intelligent. I probably would be considered a bit eccentric and I'm short.

Seems everyone is picturing themselves as a Breton. I find this quite funny.

Nord since I'm Scottish. Nords are predominantly based on Nordic culture but some elements of Scottish culture were also taken when creating them. Besides Scottish culture is pretty similar to Nordic culture, especially in the North and West of the country.
