Will Far Harbour Have A Chance At Being Delayed?

Post » Wed Mar 30, 2016 5:16 pm

With the size of Far Harbor advertising to be larger than the previous large Shivering Isles DLC that Bethesda did with the Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion on various news sites I sometimes worry that Far Harbor might be delayed. After Wasteland Workshop releases in April if that DLC's not delayed which I don't think will, they have maybe 30-40 days depending on which part of April Wasteland Workshop releases to release Far Harbor within the month of May as originally planned. I bet a lot of people are looking forward to Far Harbor (myself included) out of the three DLC's that they announced, so I would guess they would try not to delay it for trying not to displease their fans, but in the end what do you guys think?

There is always a small possibility. Honestly I wouldn't mind a month or 2 delay to fix all the bugs. I got Uncharted 4 to play at that time to pass the time.

Highly doubt it, but there is always a chance.

Far Harbour is likely mostly done. Even so, the CK is supposed to release in April so that'll have people busy with stuff. Console mods in May/Juneish as well. If a delay happens, it wouldn't be the end of the world. But I doubt it'll happen personally.

Yeah the DLC is probably already done or near done. They gave themselves ample time to do things this time, so any chance of a delay is extremely minimal.

Is there a chance it might be released early?

I'll sit here and hype myself up to sky high levels of anticipation of that possibility! Hopefully Bethesda does not let me down (fingers crossed!).

Define the size of a DLC. Far Harbor has a larger landmass than Shiver Isles, but the way Beth talked about pricing suggests that it also had less content than Shivering Isles (which makes the DLc itself smaller, as it fits the price difference).

In any case, delays are always possible, though I'd guess that they are mostly done with the DLC.

Yeah that's actually a mistake on my part I keep thinking larger landmass means more content, but you are right it's a larger landmass with less content. My mistake :)

Oh good I can already see a massive outcry coming soon to that "This DLC svcks, it should have had tons of content, more than Shivering Isles"

While I put slight possibility i doubt it'll be delayed. The DLC is likely finished they're just making the final touch ups for it.
