You have gotten a lot of ignorant responses so far, here's one that will be useful to you: -

If you look around on Google you should be able to find one or more Australian companies offering free trials for VPN services, people use this technique to bypass game release date checks all the time in the west so they can play up to 24 hours early. You will only need to use this once as the game just needs to pass authentication on Steam, after that you can discard the VPN service entirely.

Anyways, why did you move to Japan? I don't get it! The U.S must be 100x times better than japan!

Not that this is really relevant to the discussion but "Better" is a subjective word. I dont want to derail the thread discussion by discussion why I live in Japan. However, your "100x better" I can 100% say for me, and many other expats is not true.
