If your companion Kills stuff do you get the credit

Two questions:

1) I have Boon and Ed-E and often they just kill random stuff even though set to passive, which I am fine with really cos I get the experience but do I also get the credit for some of the trophies. For example 10,000 damage with guns, does Boon killing with his gun add to my tally of damage with guns or not? If not I might make them waiti somewhere on only call upon when I really need them...

2) Do the PS3 trophies roll over games, so if I racked up 9000 damange from melee in one full game and then started from scrach and gotanother 1000 melee damange in another would that give me the trophy for 10,000 melee damage?

Thanks!!!

I don't believe their attacks count but I haven't checked this.

Those achievements are tied to in-game perks so doing 9000 damage with one and 1000 damage with another won't count.

Unfortunately no. I killed a deathclaw right after saving and got the abomination perk, then died and reloaded. ED-E and Boone killed 2 or 3 of them and I didn't get the perk until I had the final shot on the 3rd or 4th, although still getting the xp isn't too bad!

I wish I didn't get the XP for Boone's and ED-E's kills but I do. I can be picking flowers and Boone's yelling "You're mine!" and my XP keeps going up. I don't want to level up that fast! :D

No on the perks though. You earn those...as it should be. :)

I saw that and didn't take that one! Another tip I just read was to avoid Lockpicking because it gives so much XP. That's going to be hard though because I'm so curious.
