Zidane Tribal's PS3 lag video

I'm remaining optimistic about this for the time being. Let's hope they keep their promise this time!

That video really scares meO_o
My game has some slight lag and froze once, but it's really nothing compared to Zidane's video. Are there many people with this kind of lag? Or is it the absolute worst-case scenario and doesn't happen too often?
The problem seems to be that it starts off with slight lag that can be fixed by a reboot, but as you keep going it will eventually get worse until it is completely unplayable.

I have heard of people that have it so bad that they can only play the game for up to 10minutes before it becomes unplayable after a console reboot.

So even if yours aint this bad yet, it probably will get if you continue to play.

Bro, I've spent merely 3 hours on my Nord and I'm already getting a higher save file size.

I first watched Zidane's video when my save was around 9-10mb and it showed exactly how my game was running. So I (like many other people) made another character to play while waiting for the patch to see if it fixes the issue. I've periodically gone back to my main character to do a few things here and there. The save is now over 13mb and it's sad that I watch Zidane's video again and look back on it as the good old days when my game ran that well.

It is near unplayable for me. It definitely not my system. 3 Months old Ps3 Slim Bought it New and have used it very lightly. Hopefully they really patch it. The first few hours it worked good I acturally liked the game. It truthfully seemed amazing. Not all so much anymore.

I can jump on the bandwagon about the freezing and lag. Can't tell how long I've put in, but with my game now 11mb in size for the file save and level 40 ... I cannot fast travel anywhere, it takes over 3 minutes for the game to even let me save, and when I do try to fast travel, after 10+ minutes of the loading screen my PS3 freezes/reboots. This is very disappointing. Looks like I have to shelf this until it gets fixed.

Yeah, that's how it starts. I'm seriously becoming OCD about restarting my console and reinstalling every other day I play. =P

When things go bump in the night...

Also, checking the stats on the video, well over a hundred people shared this video on their walls. Thanks for helping to spread the word, guys!

svcks you guys are having this issue. Personally, I have a couple save files over 10MB, and have next to zero lag issues. The only time it gets bad is after I play for over 6-7 hours straight. Then, going to an instanced city like Windhelm/Whiterun/etc does become a bit laggy, although outside of these cities things are fine. I just restart my system and everything is fine for another few hours.

I do have faith that they will fix this issue. I really cannot imagine them just leaving PS3 users out to dry. Just have patience guys/gals. This is an amazing game I just cannot get away from.

Zidane. I am sorry but please tellme that really isn't your voice.

It sounds way too good (haha). It almost sounds computer generated (its that good)... I just can't believe that's your real voice and if it is please upload more videos with extended voice clips...

I am having the exact same lag problems, I am using a 320GB Slim PS3, I bought it 3 weeks ago.

Out of the first few weeks, Grand Theft Auto IV, Red Dead Redemption and Battlefield 3 run fine on it, the only FPS problem I had was on Grand Theft Auto was when I drove really fast into a bench of people.

My save file on Skyrim is 5MB, and as soon as I load up, it starts lagging, it was fine before the 5MB.

I don't see how this can be a console problem, and I know people are trying to defend Bethesda because their games work, but, really, it must be the game.

Also, is there actually a confirmation of Bethesda actually fixing the problem? I guess we'll find out next week.

I pray to God this video has circulated through the development team of Bethesda. They CAN NOT ignore this. Excellant video!
