I'm rolling a Nordic warrior (female) right now with fully upgraded Ancient Nordic Armor. I seem to be doing fine so far, with a Legendary Daedric sword and Bow, though I want to refrain from other armors (what, it looks good on my tan-skinned battle broad...). Is it advisable to continue wearing at later levels? I'm at 21 at the moment and seem to be doing fine.

No idea. Keep using it and you'll find out eventually. I only entered this thread because I say the word boob.

I was curious about it also. Tough there were some glich or bug about 'em.

Oh Khajiit, sweet Khajiit. Enchant, Make potion, enchant, make potion~ And smith that armour like a boob boss and you'll be fine~

You'll probably want to improve it as much as you can, but yeah, it's perfectly fine as long as you don't play on Master difficulty.
