My understanding was that Skyrim syncs our saved games to the cloud. Otherwise why bother play online. Got a brand new computer, reinstalled skyrim from cd - took 2 hours to download stuff from steam. And no saved games at all.
So what's the story - was it just b.s about the 'sync to the cloud'?
if steam did sync up to the saved games..... i'd have about 50gb of save data uploading still.. and it would still be uploading them for about another year or more due to my slow internet connection.
Actually, there's usually a limit to how much a game can sync with the Steam Cloud. It varies by game, but perhaps Skyrim will get the functionality eventually seeing as how functionality was recently added to past Elder Scrolls games. Though, it may also be a case of not wanting any of the issues in the beginning that New Vegas had with the Steam Cloud functionality. That may be why Skyrim doesn't have it right now.
