Fus Feim Yol

Post » Tue May 29, 2012 8:45 pm

I realized the other options don't disappear once you pick one of them. I assume that doesn't mean I could take all of them, but I can always switch between the three, right? Like the sign stones or blessings? I chose Yol, so when I take Feim or Fus, the support for Yol will be deactivated. Is that correct?

Not sure if I understood it.

You're saying that about shouts, right? These three shouts are different shouts. Fus is unrelenting force, yol is the frost breath, if I am not wrong and feim I don't remember.

You can use all the 3 shouts depending only on the cooldown time.

Yes, you can only have one at a time, just like blessings and such.
Feim was bugged for me. Didn't show up in the active effects list, but I didn't test if the effect worked.

I think that he just teaches you all 3 words.

You can learn all the words, and know all the words at once, but you only have 1 active shout, but you change it like a spell, not like a standing stone.

Shouts are nothing like standing stones, I don't know how anyone is confused.

Heizer and insanesenator: It's not about learning the shouts, of course you can learn them all and it's not difficult to understant how they work. But at a certain point during the main quest, you are allowed to select a "boost" for one of the three words mentioned. I had thought I would have to choose then once and for all, but you can always change to a different "boost". I just wanted to make sure I understood this correctly.

Edit: Oh, and I think Yol is fire breath, not frost breath. ;)

FUS FEIM YOL is not a shout, the OP is talking about the mediations that you can choose, FUS Reduces the Stagger you take and increases the Stagger enemies take by 25%. FEIM increases the rate you recover health while you use Become Etheral and YOL increases the damage your FIRE breath does by 25%.

To the OP you can only have one at a time i personally take YOL because, what can i say i love breathing fire on [censored]

Paarthanax's blessing works like the Standing Stones. You can only have one at a time 'activated'.

Forgot to mention, you're obviously stuck with your choice if you side with the Blades a bit later in the MQ ^_^

IMO take Feim. Yol is utterly useless. Can't even kill a simple Draugr.

the OP is talking about the Meditation offered by the golden dragon Paarthunax or whatever on the top of the throat of the world. He really should have explained that. And yes, you can only have on active meditation at a time.

Well, I wanted to keep it spoilerfree, so ... ;) Thanks for all the replies! personally, I chose Yol dor now as I hardly ever get low enough on HP to want to recover it 25% quicker or even use ethereal (lol, sp?) . Since I almost always keep a distance from the enemies, I rarely ever get pushed over except for when rare enemies use that one shout, so overall, I think the fire thingy sounds most helpful for me even if not that powerful.
