Well, we recently got the Skyrim game and it rocks hard. However, my brother got the smart idea of trying to kill Rodolf when we first get out of the cave, being introduced to Skyrim. Everytime he kills us we respawn when we first attacked him. We can't get him off our back - he follows us everywhere!

I can't find Rodolf on UESP or the other wiki.

I'm not sure how to spell his name correctly, but he's the guy you survive with, after the dragon raids the village right before you get your head chopped off.

cut him down until he is kneeling (he cant be killed obviously), then run far away before he gets back up again. use the wait command to wait about 24 hours or so. he will be back to normal like nothing happened. friends again. he forgives you

What race are you? If you're an Imperial you use voice of the emperor to calm him down or maybe you could try sheathing your weapon that'll stop him I think.

I play on a Xbox, so I don't know what the Wait Command is. Also, it's hard to cut him down because he kills me before I can even get his health low enough.

The wait command is the back button. Well I would just run if I were you and then as the other person said wait 24 hours and everything should be fine.

its the button to the left of the xbox button. if you cant cut him down then just run like hell and hide LOL

I dunno how the autosave works so early in the game, but you could also start over if the earlier suggestions aren't working for you.

the game has autosaved at least once since the game started. there should be an autosave once you are inside the keep.

IIRC, it autosaves as you exit the cave too....
