I have all the pieces of the sword but can't find any way up the hill to get to the shrine. Can someone (please!) let me know where I find the path up to the shrine.

I found it by accident even before I started the quest. I think I just sort of spam jumped repeatedly jump button bashing to get to it. However there is a path surely but I'm not sure where it is...

You can make your way up via the lord stone.
Try going to the lord stone from the Dawnstar direction.

Go to dawnstar and talk to the owner of Mythc dawn Museum.Ask about merunes razor.And you will acivacte the quest.Collect the pieces of the Razor and returning to him.And the rest you will know what to do.

It's far easier to get to the Shrine by going up from the south. Far less mountainous.
