1. I bought the house in Whiterun. It is fully dected out. But when I go to my bed there it says it is "owned" and I cannot use it. What the &*$#^$(@*#&$@? Any help would be great.

2. When I first got Skyrim, before any patches, it would just crash to desktop with no warning. Now that there have been some patches I no longer have that issue... exactly. Now, instead of crashing to desktop, it drops out to desktop and I have to Alt+TAB twice in order to get back to the game. Any ideas?

3. On the quest for "Queen Freydis's Sword" I have been to all the locations that have been recommended to locate it (Ansilvund, Cragwallow Slope, Cronvangr Cave, Lost Knife Hideout, Stony Creek Cave, Uttering Hills Cave) after accepting the quest but I cannot find it. In my Journal it says it sould be in Cronvangr. I have revisted each location to make sure I didn't miss anything and reopend all chests. Any ideas?

If your trying to sleep in the single bed, that belongs to Lydia. The double bed is yours.

I don't remember seeing a double bed. There is only one bed that I remember seeing upstairs. I guess I can go back and talk to the fella that sells the upgrades but last time I spoke to him I had everything.

For your 2nd problem it might be anti virus or windows update trying to update something. Happens to me sometimes when itunes wants to update.

It happens every 30 - 50 mins. I'm fairly certain it isn't another app causing this as nothing else is running, but thanks.

2. it really does sound like something is on auto pilot (doesn't have to be for updating). Check your Scheduler as well as any software such as anti-virus and firewalls that could be accessing your computer in 30-50 minute increments. Every single time that this sort of issue has been mentioned on these boards it has been becaue of this. Every time.

3. Sorry, I can't help with this...have you looked at UESPWiki for possible solutions?

Hadn't looked in UESPWiki but was looking on elderscrolls.wikia.com. Will give it a look over later when I get back home. As far as schedled tasks, all my tasks are set to run in the early AM hours (like 2:00am or 4:00am) so as not to interfer with my daily tasks. So I know that isn't the issue. I'll double check again but again, I'm 99% sure that isn't the case. This is also the only game or program that does this.

Same minimization issue, happens in a lot of games for me, trying to track down the source and it's being elusive. TL;DR, it's not skyrim!
