The Occupy movement is pretty much politically irrelevant, and nobody cares about those smelly, butthurt college kids. Grow up.

Which is why I said an Occupy Bethesda would fit right in with the rest of the Occupy groups.

It's the blatant lies, and utter disregard to consumers...

What did they lies about during marketing? I've been here (on my ofnir123 account, which for some reason I can't access anymore) since about a month after the reveal trailer, and everything they said has been in-game. But of course, people hyped it up too much. THAT'S the lies you're talking about

Utter disregard for consumers? It's not like they weren't trying to fix the game right? oh wait, did they force you to buy the game, or make you sign some evil contract when you bought it.
Ok, the game wasn't what you expected. Deal with it for [censored]'s sake, life isn't made out of fairy tales where your appreciation is the only thing that matters

It's the blatant lies, and utter disregard to consumers that Bethesda has demonstrated that really puts the whole "occupy" movement into a realistic perspective. I wonder what would happen if 500 customers camped out in front of Bethesda in protest? Would the game get fixed, would they apologize, or would the police just show up, beat us up, and arrest us? If you don't know what the "occupy" movement is, then it's time to unplug, and read the news =)

Occupy movement? That's the bunch of deadbeats that can't be bothered to get a job and pay off their student loans and want their debts forgiven? Rampant sixual assault? Diseases cropping up...yeah..enjoyed reading about that. Our very own 3rd world country coming to a major city near you. Good luck with that. Hope you got your shots.

Now, I hate to actually be relevant in a thread this stupid, but you do realize that there are 4 times as many unemployed people as there are jobs available, right?

The occupy movement? You mean all those random know-nothings and jobless hippies who think standing around, holding signs, and annoying the general public is a good idea? Protesting is great if you enjoy wasting your time. This isn't 1934. No one cares about what people have to say on a piece of white posterboard.

If you want to do something, make it more productive than randomly standing in front of buildings.

I think your post definitely puts the "occupiers" in a realistic perspective, just not in the way you're intending.

ITT: Nothing about Skyrim.

OT: Bethesda's parking lot is private property. You can't "occupy" it any more than someone that doesn't like you can occupy your house. The police will arive, you will be arrested, and you will be forcefully arrested if you try to resist. End of discusion.

As to the principle of the thing: Skyrim is a video game. It's something you buy with spare money, not something you buy with your life savings. It's not food, it's not gas, it's not electricity or water, it's not your source of livliehood, it's a toy. A broken toy is still just a broken toy, and taking it too seriously is exactly what a small child would do. If Skyrim means so much to you that you would take time off work or school to "occupy" Bethesda's parking lot, well maybe you need to get a job or go to school.

That time you spend in their parking lot is a waste.

Bethesda probably wouldn't do anything but call the cops. Todd doesn't need to fix anything because BGS created a product and you freely purchased said product. Pete didn't lie to you, your head was filled with the sweet nothings of your own and others' imaginations.

Bethesda doesn't owe you [censored].

does anyone really care enough about a game to camp out over it?

I know I would. But I don't live in the states.

Yeah because the world doesn't have any better causes to get behind. Have some perspective. They released a faulty patch, get over it.

THIS!

It's not the game...it's the principle. If you are not willing to fight for principle's then you are a complete (insert your own word here).

See above, padawan.
