Occupy Bethesda

Post » Thu May 31, 2012 5:43 pm

It's the blatant lies, and utter disregard to consumers that Bethesda has demonstrated that really puts the whole "occupy" movement into a realistic perspective. I wonder what would happen if 500 customers camped out in front of Bethesda in protest? Would the game get fixed, would they apologize, or would the police just show up, beat us up, and arrest us? If you don't know what the "occupy" movement is, then it's time to unplug, and read the news =)

Yeah because the world doesn't have any better causes to get behind. Have some perspective. They released a faulty patch, get over it.

It's not the game...it's the principle. If you are not willing to fight for principle's then you are a complete (insert your own word here).

*in before the lock*

You really think that striking and 'occupying' the front lawn of a video game company is really worth anyone's time or attention? You think that's a worthy cause at this moment? Maybe YOU should really unplug and read the news more often... I LOL'd hard at your post, no doubt it was a joke, because it sure made me laugh. Thanks.

Good Lord. If anybody were to actually protest over the game by picketing the Bethesda offices, I hope they get made fun of mercilessly. That's about the most ridiculous suggestion I've seen on these forums.

it's not a game, it's a product. A game is something intangible like hide and seek or tag.

I'd join you, but I'm busy playing skyrim! :user:
btw, if you actually cared to check out their blog for once, you'll see that they have apologized and adressed the issues.

Really? Is this game that important to you?

First of all, what has Bethesda lied about? Second, I think they have apologized to gamers that have had game breaking experiences and in fact have thanked consumers for their patience as they take more care in fixing any issues with the game.

I can understand being upset with glitches in the game, but it hardly worth organizing some kind of mass protest. Maybe it's time for you to "unplug" for a while. :)

the world would (rightly so) laugh at you, because noooo, the planet hasn t more severe problems, people suffering, in other parts of the world, ...and some butt-hurt videogamer, camps out in front of a game company yelling " FIIIXXX EEEEETTTT !!!!"... how laughable...

Based upon the few remarks it is obvious most people do not understand what is happening with the "occupy" movement. The comment was satirical.

No, I think an Occupy Bethesda would fit right in with the rest of the Occupy movement.

sigh

This forum needs a Hall of Lame, where ridiculously stupid threads can be sent to die, their bleached bones serving as a monument to their stupidity.

I think the better question is, why are you talking about the occupy movement on the Skyrim forums?

The Occupy movement is pretty much politically irrelevant, and nobody cares about those smelly, butthurt college kids. Grow up.
