Went to great effort to get where it is, only to not be able to pick it up. Anyone have this problem and/or find a way to work around it? If not, Bethesda please fix!

Aside from the bugs, the game is amazing.

I am having the same problem. The q-35 is laying against the container but unobtainable. I raged quit after that. Hopefully this gets sorted out.

Same problem for me. What garbage. First I can't use my modded weathered 10mm, ad now I can't get this. Fix the damn game.

Take a companion in with no weapons and they will pick it up for you. Hope it helps. Boone picked up mine for me.

So I signed up just to reply to this, I got the same glitch on my PS3 and could not get a companion to pick up the gun. However, if you are careful and blow a few grenades in just the right spots behind the capsul a corner of the gun wound up just barely selectable. It took 3 or so grenades to get it to bounce right, first lying flat then another one behind the capsule nudged it so I could fish with the pointer and pick it up. Hope this helps.

Had the same glitch, got ticked off and left, then went to the strip and now have black screen lockups every time I try to leave the casino
never did get the gun and now cant even play outside a casino

Thank you so much! I had signed up just to post this glitch. I had tried the explosives before, but had no luck. Your post inspired me to try several more times, and I finally got the gun.

Thanks. For others, my experience was that placing a mine on the left side of the capsule, shooting it, and repeating, worked.

Yeah I've got this glitch too. I haven't been able to force the game to give me the gun either. This svcks.
