Spoiler watch out Im trying to get the safety deposit box achievements but every time I get elijah into the vault I don't know how to lock it. If anyone could help that would be awesome, thank you.

I had trouble a firs. Just leave, heade left and follow the path, then you will get out and get your achivement.

The achievement is deceptive. As soon as you goad Elijah to come down, don't go to him, head for the exit. I sneak out of the vault area and as soon as I was out of the turret area I ran to the exit, about half way there Elijah get on the intercom and freaks out and set everything to blow, at that point I think the achievement goes bleep bloop.

Everytime I try a force field shows up and blocks the exit and always when I am right up to it.

I also can't get the Cash Out achievement since when I wait for Elijah to come down he stops at the door and starts up the force field and says I am trying to steal from him.

The achivement is misleading, all you have to do is go left, not right (the force fields stop you) keep going left, then you will get to the exit, get out if you havent killed elijah then you get the achivement.

I found out it was because I used the wrong dialogue option. When I did the one that say that "I don't want the vault" and Elijah says that he can hear that you are "telling the truth in your voice" it makes it that when you get 5 feet from any door a force field shows up, but all other options let you sneak out. I also got Cash Out and you can't let the turrets kill him or you won't get the achievement.

Everytime I head to the left out of the vault and go all the way around the last force field will pop up EVERYTIME.. and I'm not stopping or anything. I get there as fast as possible. WTF

its really tricky :/ took me awhile to get it to but the best way is to the right

I did it by burning a magazine and popping a stealthboy (found one in the Casino) before leaving the vault, then sneaking to the leftmost stairs then around, waiting for Elijah to walk towards the vault then heading for the elevator through the covered passageways....if you're quick you can get to the first door to the exit before he trips the alarms. One thing I noticed is that to replicate it I usually have to exit from the game completely then restart it and load the save and it'll worth the first time then fail on subsequent attempts unless the game is re-started.

As soon as he opens the vault, just leave the exact same way you came in, the long way.

I had a [censored] of a time when I first tried getting this achievement - I couldn't find the correct exit.
