Ok, so i just recently bought call of cthulhu via steam but it crashes when i go to launch it. My pc meets all the minimum system requirements and it should run it fine, but for some reason it crashes before i get to see the main menu. The startup window pops up asking me to choose the display adapter/mode, language and antialiasing. So i put in all that [censored] and then it brings up the starting info for cthulhu, the company name etc. then it just crashes and sends me to the desktop with an error saying CoCMainWin32.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. I have tried everything and nothing seems to fix it. Im starting to get extremely pissed off and i just want to play the [censored] game already. Any suggestions/help would be greatly appreciated, i really want to play it

heh, this is the first problem i encountered while playing coc. let me ask you a question. are you running a multi core processor?
for me, i was running a dual core amd processor, to fix teh problem i had to download some dual core optimizer for amd processors.
