Odd Erros when trying to load Black Mesa mod.

First off, I would like to say I am sorry if I am posting this in the wrong place, it applies to the Fallout New Vegas g.e.c.k. forums, and the Fallout New Vegas mod forums.

I recently downloaded the new area add-on based off of Black Mesa from half life.

I edited the black mesa map by making the entrance to the area more realistic, and I also placed about ten enemies to see how the AI would react on the black mesa map. Once I was satisfied with what I came up with, I saved the changes I made to the black mesa map in g.e.c.k., closed the g.e.c.k. then ran fallout new vegas with the new plug in. (Please keep in mind that I have other mods running with the black mesa map.) I load into the game, run over to the the door that teleports you to the black mesa map. I port to the map with no problems at all, but none of the changes I made to the map are showing, none of the enemies, none of the extra things I put into the map to make it more realistic. I quit fallout new vegas, open the g.e.c.k. back up and I go to see if maybe there was a problem with saving the mod. Once the g.e.c.k. is up and running with all the data, I notice there are now two black mesa files, one says (Black Mesa) and the other says (Black Mesa Duplicate 001) when I open up the (Black Mesa Duplicate 001) the only stuff that shows up are my changes, and a large square of water (Used for world making I think.) The other file, named (Black Mesa) has everything there, but with no changes. Does anyone know what is going on? whats causing this? what I can do to stop this from happening?

Sorry, do you mean that there are two "cells" in geck? Not files. Assuming you mean cells, then what you did was to copy Black Mesa when you wanted to modify it. It may be easier to start again, make sure you do not copy the cell, put just one item in, save, and make sure you can see your change. Once you have verified that one item works, then put more items.
