My mods just aren't being recognized

Hey there,

So here's the scoop. I have made many mods in the past, and never encountered this issue, and it is driving me to tears. For the sake of simplicity, the mod in consideration moves the operating table in doc mitchell's house in Goodsprings from one room to another. Simple. However, while I can get it to show up in the Geck, and save properly, I can not get the changes to be applied in game. Everything is just in the default positions.

I made sure the mod is active, its the only mod running. I've tried both with a new game and a loaded game. The changes show when reopened in Geck (both for me, and for a friend), and won't show in game (both for me and a friend). I've tried so far with a base New Vegas install, with a patched + DLC install, and with every combination of FOMM, Archive Invalidation, and NVSE.

Previously, when I had working mods, I was running Windows XP 32 bit. Now, I'm running Windows 7 x64, but I moved the game install directory to the root of a seperate hard drive, and disabled my UAC. I've tried running everything in administrator mode, as well as in normal mode.

This only applies to my own mods; mods that I get from TES Nexus or whatever still seem to work.

At this point, I'm flat out of ideas. Any help would be appreciated.

create a dummy quest and let it pop a message when it loads. If you have NVSE, you can make it check the mod index number.

so you can at least gurantee that your mod is activated.
