Mod Request: Repair/Replacement of Weapons and Apparel.

Post » Mon Feb 07, 2011 3:03 pm

Hi, I'm looking for a mod that through the use of an in-game item/terminal/object etc. removes and replaces (back in 100% condition) all items currently in the [Weapons] and [Apparel] sections of the pip-boy. I'm requesting something like this because I find it to be the solution to having multiple listings of the same items in the same condition (100%), which I have come to HATE WITH A PASSION! Using a mod like this will ensure that the items in the pip-boy will be listed in a nice, orderly and stacked manner, as they should have been.

If a mod with this function already exists, could somebody please direct me to it.

Also, if somebody knows how to make a mod like this but does not want to or cannot make the mod themselves, please feel free to share the details (if possible) on how to create such a mod.

Many thanks will be apportioned.

James.

Note: Please nobody talk about how this mod could be used to cheat blah, blah, blah. I am well aware.

It might be able to be scripted in this way (which I don't know how to do):

1. Obtain list of ItemIDs from [Weapons] and [Apparel] tabs,
2. Remove items through the player.removeitem command,
3. Add back those same items with player.additem command.

Again, I would'nt have the first clue as to how to do this.

You can use the console and just type in; Setweaponhealthperc 100, which fully repairs the weapon your holding.

Yeah, I know, which is good for the single weapon that your holding, but it would be a real pain to equip every single weapon and use the command. Even then, I don't think that that command can be used for apparel.

Thanks for the reply.
