Honest Hearts: My impressions after playing it through.

Finished playing through Honest Hearts after restarting it a couple times to tweak my gear choices. Wasn't sure what the food and ammo situation was gonna be like, and I initially took quite a bit more food, and quite a bit less ammo, than I needed. I'm a dedicated user of This Machine, and .308 ammo is rather thin on the ground in Zion. This was far and away the most fun I've had playing F:NV, and that's a heck of a statement coming from me, since it's easily my favorite title ever. When my dad was alive and still able to get out and about, we hiked a good bit in Zion, and it was fun seeing it in a video game. Got a bit misty-eyed going through the Narrows, with all the memories that brought back.
As for the DLC itself, the story was great, the scenery was great, and I really like the new gear and weapons that were added. I'm a big WWII buff, and I love having the 1911 and Thompson to go with This Machine. The tomahawk was also a great addition, especially since it's available through merchants back in the Mojave. After I completed it, however, it occurred to me that it would've been really awesome to introduce a bow into the game. I really enjoy archery, and would like my Fallout character to enjoy it as well. I think it would've been in keeping with the overall theme of the DLC as well. Perhaps introduce a bow and a couple different types of arrows as crafting recipes? I suppose one issue would be deciding which skill the use of a bow would fall under, since there is no specific archery skill in the game. I'm sure I'm not the only one who'd like to see that, but I doubt there are enough of us wanting it to make it a reality. I also really enjoyed the amount of food items and fresh water in Zion; both of those made for easy living in hardcoe Mode. In summary, if the next DLC is half as good as this one, it'll still be a winner.
