» Mon Feb 14, 2011 10:59 pm I'm the victim of all NCR rangers being hostile towards me, while normal NCR troops are just fine (I'm the step above neutral). I used to be able to just turn off combat ai if I had to turn in an ncr quest near a ranger, but now I have two quests where I have to actually talk to the rangers, and if I am wearing normal armor they are immediately hostile, while if I wear NCR armor they go hostile once I get within about 10 feet. So I ask, does anyone know of a way to either open up dialog with an npc outside the 10 feet, or unhostile an npc, or fix the rangers being such douchers? Every thread I have found about this have gone unanswered.
No, I don't have any legion or whatever armor.
No, I haven't stolen something or shot/killed anyone I shouldn't have, so waiting 3 days doesn't do anything... Even on my oldest save, about 10 hours of gameplay ago, rangers attack me for no reason.
