Official Honest Hearts/NV/DLC Glitches Thread

Post » Wed Feb 16, 2011 12:46 am

Hopefully the fact that obsidian laid off a bunch of people doesn't mean that they are completely done working on the game, cuz I certainly hope they release a patch, esp since I'm sure there will be more glitches. I started this cuz I noticed several glitches in HH and figured it would be helpful for there to be one tread so (hopefully) when obsidian employees see this they know what to fix. I'll try to continuously update this post to include a list of any new ones anyone finds, as opposed to them having to scour the forum to find them. Here's what I've found so far:

1. Upon meeting the Graham and heading down the river to leave, I get a message saying I've auto-failed the quests related to him, and my follower has left. This might have to do with the fact that I killed Graham, then reloaded a previous save to continue playing, not sure, but it always happens right as I'm nearing the end of that river (to where the paintings are). I've tried fast traveling which keeps the message from popping up, but I'm not sure if it will happen again if I go back and try to leave normally.

2. In ammo containers that include explosives ammo, both 25mm and 40mm grenades will only spawn one, yup, only one, round. I'm pretty sure this is an error in the form list for the containers effected.

3.stuff spawning right on top of you

Note: this is not intended to be an all inclusive list for NV glitches and I am ignoring ones that either seem to complicated for a patch to fix (like pathing issues, enemies falling through the ground, or the really annoying first person glitch that makes you hold your gun up higher. Since these have yet to be fixed, and some of them were issues in FO3, I'm assuming its the fault of the engine or is to big to be able to patch without a massive patch file) or are easily ignored, so please done post about those. I am also trying to focus mostly on HH glitches, and later any in/caused by the next two DLC.

wtf people? I made this tread to help out the devs and try to get issues that were overlooked patched. Please stop making new threads about glitches and post here so they have an easy to find list.

Not meaning to tacitly approve of the questionable "official" status of this thread, but I just remembered one I found. In ammo containers that include explosives ammo, both 25mm and 40mm grenades will only spawn one, yup, only one, round. I'm pretty sure this is an error in the form list for the containers effected.

The same way any thread here is made official: cuz the OP (me in this case) put "Official" in the tittle (i.e. absolutely nothing). I could be wrong though, but that's how it seems to me.

Edit: this is also supposed to be an organized list, not just countless threads like the one posted above.

Actually, only a Moderator, Community Manager (ie: Gstaff) or a Dev can create an official thread. The rest of us -including yourself- are permitted to only make unofficial threads.

Three things are likely to occur with this thread, regardless of your intentions.

1) A Mod will rename the thread to Unofficial...etc and move it to one of the hardware & Software forums.

2)A Mod will lock the thread and direct you to use one of the exisiting 'Collected issues' threads in the relevant Hardware & Software Forum.

3)A Mod will just lock the thread.
