exclamation mark after modding

Post » Wed Feb 16, 2011 1:46 am

so i added a silencer mod on my "weathered 10mm" and now im getting a giant exclamation mark with a red diamond around it. at first i thought it was just an error so i rebooted and then reloaded to a time before i added the mod. i re added the mod and i got the same thing. i think its that the weapons model isnt coded right or it just doesnt exist. anyone having an issue with this?

Yup, I've heard that you can't mod that weapon as they did not include the needed art assets. Which makes me think that none of the pre-order bonuses were tested before release.

Seriously, this bug it just hilarious. Those pre-order bonuses were mentioned months ago and they never tested them? I don't think Bethesda QA's anything. I would fire all the QA guys if this was my game. QA is the most important step, since this is supposed to push the game to the limits and find all the bugs. Did none of the QA people explore the wasteland or did they just do all the quests from beginning to end and not play like a hardcoe player.

Agree that this is shoddy. I got the same glitch. Not a game-killer like the savegame issue (which has brought my quest to a screeching half for five days now, despite many attempted workarounds).
