Making my first little house mod..

Post » Sat Feb 19, 2011 2:56 am

I'm pretty much playing it by ear with the GECK, and I seem to be doing OK so far with my object placement. The one thing I'm not sure about is containers. If I'm using existing containers, are the ones that are marked "empty" in the GECK list safe to store objects in? I assume so, but I don't want to make a mistake and have someone blame me for their unique garden gnome launcher getting eaten up by a container.

Just make sure the containers are not set to 'Respawn'. There's a checkbox for that on the BaseForm.

The mod in my sig may also be of interest to you if you're at that stage in the design :)

I appreciate the offer, but this one's intended to be a no-frills, simple house, no fancy sorters. It's got running water though, and that's gotta count for something.
