The DTPP Sniper Start Pack is a small add on done in the same vein as the official add ons for New Vegas. A few well chosen items obtainable at or near the start of a new game.

The twist in this is, even though you are told where to look..you still have to go get it, instead of having things auto-magically appear in your inventory.

The pack includes:

-1 suit of Recon Armor without helmet.
-1 pair of lightly 'enchanted' sniper sunglasses
-a small cache of standard and armor piercing ammo
-1 customized (stats) 'light recon' sniper rifle chambered for 5.56mm (uses the unique varmint rifle model and textures for now). Occasionally causes knock-back/down. Damage is in line with the standard varmint rifle (slightly higher).
-250 caps.

-A note from a friend, explaining why you are getting the goodies in the first place.

NOTE: Once I learn how to make viable companions, the 'old friend' may appear in later versions of this pack, either as a companion, or as a sort of light-weight 'mysterious stranger' type deal.
