I was on the missing laser pistol miniquest and went to Scorpion gulch and went to the exact spot the laser pistol should be (confirmed with screenshots of people finding it) and its not there. I even noclipped (tcl) under the map to see if it fell through, and it wasn't on the ground or that weird LoD sub-ground.

The model passes through both layers so I guess its possible it fell through into the abyss, do I have any hope? I really want that gear bonus and since they check serial numbers I cant use just any laser pistol!

I'm having the same issue, the gun is just not there, or fell through the terrain.
