what the heck ... i did the dlc (had a great time by the way) i made the choice to fight .....then you see the cut scene saying the trading co set up new trade lines but when you go back there is no one to trade with?? why go back other then to remove all the items you can?? (i did that) but you would think after the fight they would have trade shops up etc.. but nothing...and i see it this way if all you can do is go back to get stuff why did they not do that with Dead money?? well thats just a thought i use the xbox so i cant do all the comp codes i just felt they stopped it short or one other thing where are the raiders they talked about i found none ... it was still alot more fun then dead money i cant wait for the next one..... :flamethrower:

It talks about the trading prosperity/failure with Happy Trails. Your contract ended after a certain incident. Therefor the outcome of the trade has no effect on you.

On the matter of why go back. Zion is a haven for hardcoe Players, meaning there food resources there are so abundant you can basically live in Zion on hardcoe mode and you'd almost never have to leave. (Only when you've lotted every resource and need to wait for them to cycle/spawn)

They didn't do it with Dead Money because the whole theme behind the DLC was Letting Go. Kinda hard to bring that across as a viable theme when you keep coming back.

Please Note: I'm not trying to denounce your opinion, I'm just stating mine on the matter.

Not to mention that IIRC, a lot of Zion items become available at various Mojave shops afterwards. That'd be a result of the new trade route. There's no New Canaan things, because they got massacred by the White Legs. Poor Mormons, nobody likes them. :(

Seeing caravans passing through Zion would be pretty cool, though.

I agree. Maybe something like what we see in some of the towns/cities we visit in the Mojave, except they only visit so often (Like the caretakers of Safehouses) and carry certain goods on certain days? (like rarer weapons/ammo/mods/etc.)

If Obsidian would actually do that it would be awesome but its doubtful that they would try to set up something like that after the DLC, and it is kinda sad how even if you stay and fight none of the important NPC's stay.

That is the only mod to which changes the ending of HH. It removes the footlocker at the end and places the items throughout Zion so that when you return you have a reason to look for stuff.

The author also mentions in his description that he is possibly adding other things to the mod so take the mod with a grain of salt and as a WIP.

yeah i get your point i go back and all i see are giant cazadors ( i hate them :banghead:) and geckos and a few goi. as for people only a few dead horse tribals sneaking around... thats no fun i already found all of the story of the survivalist (that was fun to find great job devs  ),and his rifle and armor, i like zion its pretty but its not fun (atleast for me) i was hoping after you beat it that you would see white leg remnants like the enclave outposts in FO3, or the raiders the end game talks about, or atleast a job like mini game where theres a make shift shop near the southern pass and you go in and say "hey got any work?" next thing you know your gaurding a carvan on its way to either camp or pine creek cave(i think thats the name and i remember follows-chalk sayin it was a way out of zion too)

well i see there are others out there that at least share the thought that maybe some npc's respawning for fights etc might have been a good path . i understand you can get alot of the things in trade shops now i just thought it would add a little more fun if they had a shop there also for small missions etc. but even with out that i have played thru it a few more times and still like it
