Some issues

Some issues I've noticed so far:
Game is randomly minimizing.
Random objects can sometimes flash black or white in the distance.
VATS is very slow and choppy.
At the beginning when the girl is teaching you how to shoot and such, her animations are kind of sketchy. It just doesn't look like a fluid animation.
Enemies clip into terrain (rocks, etc.)
It's harder to select certain body parts in VATS than it should be.

Some of these issues were present in Fallout 3 and were never patched, and that may be the case for this game as well, but here's hoping..

I far surpass recommended requirements, in case you are wondering.

I've noticed textures in the distance flashing white and black as well.
Haven't had it minimize on me at all though, and the animations being sketchy is kind of par for course.
I've noticed a lot of choppiness, however, and not just in VATs.

I'm running a GTX 460 with an i7 970 and 8gb of ram for those curious.

Technical issues are not always a product of system requirements. Minimizing is probably a background program, and vats is probably a product of something similar or something driver related.

I noticed in that same early training mission with the girl; that soemthing was really weird about her dog. What I thougth were two smal baslls around it's neck; were actually the eyeball models that somehow were not lined up with the head correctly. Not sure iof that's how they started out; or got that way through allthe running it does during that mission.

Strange regardless. See attached

Or maybe it's just an issue with the game that needs to be patched? Fallout 3 and Oblivion were two of the buggiest games I ever played, and New Vegas is not much different.

Just as a note, my audio issues were fixed by using Creative ALchemy Unlimited. It was needed for Fallout 3 and Oblivion and I just remembered to use it for Fallout NV.

i agree with Spectro- i run a i7 960 @ 3.2 dual 260's 12 gig ram and fallout was still buggy with my set up. now i cant even use key mapping to set any of my mouse buttons for NV lol its sad...

Was the black/orange/white flash randomly appearing in the distance fixed by the latest patch? I'm still getting that and that's so annoying.

Thanks in advance.

PS.: I have an i7 920, 8GB RAM, GTX 465, with Windows 7 64-bit PC.
