I am having issues with the classic pack dlc. The save file is now corrupted and will not load. I get an error saying something along the lines of, "this game file requires certain content which is no longer available. Do you wish to continue loading?" If you click yes the game just freezes on the auto save file and the game save that I had control of simply doesn't load and kicks me back to the title menu. Is there a fix in place for this? As of now I will have to start over and frankly this game isn't worth that much trouble.

This is known as the DLC error that many many of us now have. I would hope it is fixed with the rumored patch, but I wouldn't hold out hope that your saved games will work afterwords. The game has been out for nearly a month now and many of us still either can't play the game reliably or not at all.

I'm curious. Did you modify the weather 10mm pistol? I never did and have had minimal problems compared to some I have read about on this forum.

This issue has nothing to do with having the DLC or not. There are certain events in the game that will just break the save files.

The dlc save corruption is not related to the dlc. People are getting the corrupted saves without any dlc, they are also getting it with and without the patch. It is a problem with the original software and will be addressed in the coming patch. the only way to avoid game breaking issues is to keep multiple saves and check your saves and autosaves frequently by making test loads every other save or so to ensure it has not been corrupted. It seems vaults and possibly the "come fly with me" quest are corrupting saves the most often.If you can, avoid them or at least be cautious until the patch comes out.

I've had this problem once before as well. All I did was go into the 360s HDD and delete the DLC, then I went into my download history through the My Xbox part of the dashboard and re-downloaded the classic pack again. Problem solved. Try that if you haven't already.
