He can take a really long time to get there, but if you've waited awhile and he still isn't, try...

prid #####moveto player

This will move him to your position.

Unmodifed ED-E = 1732cf
Armor-upgraded ED-E = 1732d0
Weapon-upgraded ED-E = 1732d1

Does that mean he's dead?

prid 1732d0 works for me (in the way that it targets ED-E) but nothing happens when i hit "moveto player" i've even waited 48 hours, nothing, i remember losing him during the bombardment reaching Nellis Air Force Base or perhaps in the hangars, i've checked no sign of him though. Question is, any OTHER way to track him down, maybe a console command to locate him???

Enter the relevant ED-E reference ID. Then try:

disable
enable
moveto player

If that fails then:

kill
resurrect
disable
enable
moveto player

Its more likely work but the game will probably think ED-E is dead when he isnt.

I would recommend trying them on a dummy save first to see how these work out.

WOW this works! Thanks a lot, only problem is it doesn't matter on the code, it still looks like the old ED-E, but he lives.

Step by Step:

(`) for console and type: prid 1732d0 1732d1 or 1732cf try all if one doesn't work, ENTER - then type disable hit ENTER then enable hit ENTER and only then moveto player, and he is right there next to you. It works for me, Thanks guys for the help!

That worked but now ED-E doesn't have te companion wheel, I cannot open his inventory and he's no longer essential.

Modders will have a lot to do in order to fix this game in the coming weeks.
Lots of work.
