Yeah, recently bought FNV for 360, and bought the Recon Armor from the Gun Runners. Equipped it, travelled to Mojave Outpost to get it repaired, AND WAS ATTACKED. I was not given a disguise warning, and I had a neutral NCR rep. I loaded the autosave made automatically by the game BEFORE I got to the Outpost. I then sold the armor back to the Vendortron for HALF of its value. I travelled to the Crimson Caravan Company and got the quest to deliver the holotape to the NCR scientist at Camp McCarren, upon getting close to the entrance of the Camp, I met a Caravan. The guard decided to shoot me.he

I ignored this, because my DT was well above the damage of the Guard's weapon.

I went into the camp, and walked into the building, I was then attacked by the NCR soldier that gives you the quest "I Put a Spell on You" He opened fire on me, although no one else there was hostile towards me. I killed him, as I knew the outcome of the quest. I delivered the message, and recieved the quest to investigate Vault 22.

After I had upgraded my medicine skill to 75, and travelled back to Camp Forlorn Hope, to complete the quest named "Restoring Hope"

I arrived there and was INSTANTLY attacked by about 7 NCR soldiers, yet also, no one else was hostile towards me. I could not shrug this off, as I was only NCR Bandoleer armor. I was forced to reload a previous save.

I suspect that the Recon Armor is bugged, perhaps a hidden, broken disguise script. Can someone help? I cannot reload a previous save because the latest one is after I sold the Recon Armor, which is when my problems started.

After I had equipped the armor, even though I unequipped it, all the problems began to reveal. I would really like to NOT restart my game, as I put much work into it.

This has also happened to me on the PS3 Version.
I equipped Caesar Armor to exit a camp safely, fast traveling to a random area with no NCR inhabitants.
I equipped some other light armor, repaired it with Caesar's, was idolized by the NCR, but, as you said, they all shoot at me for no reason.

It must be a bugged script error.
Restarting may be your only option if you wanna have a good run with the NCR.

Hoping someone can help with this, like maybe it's the patch or something. I guess I could restart, as I had not gotten TOO FAR. However, I will wait to see if anyone else can help.

I've read somewhere that it can work if you reequip the armour, then take it off again.
