I always get the DLC error corrupted save when I try and leave The Living Quaters of Vault 3...the autosave and and manual saves after that become corrupt. I have experimented that place 3 times now. I always keep back up saves on this game.

A few weeks ago when I was at an early level in the game, I killed Carter at the NCR Correctional Facility. It was not part of a quest, I just killed him because he was hostile to me for some reason. So he was ended at an early point in the game.

When I go to Vault 3 his dead body is in a cell with a load of (alive) prisoners. Not sure if those prisoners are quest related or not. But I dont know exactly why Carter appears there.

Just wondering if anyone else who has DLC error issues with Vault 3 has killed Carter and if that in some way causes Vault 3 to corrupt save data.

The wiki entry on the NPC Carter states that he sometimes appears dead at vault 3.....but they did not say he does even if you kill him at the NCR Correctional Facility.

I only found him in the vault and already dead.

how about the Powder Ganger in nipton that knew me but i did't know him.
