Hmm... There is no exact solution for CTDs. When did it start to happen much more?
But you may try these:
- Create a merged patch via FNVEdit.
- Try to use FNVMasterUpdate.
- Use NV Stutter Remover. (It requires NVSE.)
- Delete your fallout_default.ini file then verify the game cache via Steam.

Is there anything like WryeBash to "Clean" all the crap out of a save yet?
I know that in Oblivion when my game starts CTDing a lot, running a 'Clean' on the save fixes a LOT of stuff.
I've also noticed that the farther you get in FO3 and FONV and the more things you've discovered, collected, quests finished
etc, the "crashier" the game becomes.
So, I'm suspecting that a lot of garbage starts to accumulate in the save files.
CASM has reduced my CTD's by at least 80%, but as I said, the farther into all Bethesda games I get,
that use the Gamebryo Engine, the crashier the game becomes.
