Not sure if this has been asked before, but is there a mod floating out there that modifies how Faction armor works?

I'm put off from wearing them not because they make you hostile to opposing factions (which makes sense) but it sets your faction with the same faction to Neutral. So, has someone made it so that it won't override your faction setting if you have positive faction with them? As in, if I have positive Legion faction, the Legion Recruit Armor won't set Legion Faction to neutral while I'm wearing it?

After all, it makes sense that this would occur, since guards can see right through your disguise...
