So I just got ED-E reactivated. Went into the Bison Steve and saved the hostage, came back out and went to the casino. I saved the game before attempting to repair Primm Slim, repaired him to see what would happen, then reloaded. Quicksave and Quickload, mind you. Upon loading the save, EVERYONE inside the building starts attacking ED-E unprovoked.

What's going on with this? Am I going to have to leave ED-E out of reach of all NPC's now? For that matter (i'm no modder, btw), why hasn't anyone made a mod to fix this? Wouldn't it be a simple matter of changing ED-E to Neutral or Good or something?

Edit: just-in-case, before y'all jump me for posting a topic about an issue that's been posted before, I used the search and found no results pertaining to this exact issue.

I've had this happen twice.. for some reason ed-e fires at people or people fire at him..

It's random.. in the primm casino.. In the ghoul acolites area when you first to go talk and get the mission to clear out the night kin and also in the airport where the ncr are inside the terminal (allthough that might have been a tress passing issue so I'm not 100% sure).

The two times it's happned are fixed if you reload a save game and try again to walk around in the area with ed-e.. I usually put him onto no ranged combat to avoide it happening as much.

I'm fairly sure it's a bug as well. There is no text speech or other indication that it's just random.

Can some one enlighten us if this is a plot device? seems silly to me.. I might just go tell ed-e to stay some where and wait for me if this keeps happening.

This is an extremely irritating issue. Like, almost enough to keep me from playing till it's fixed.

Replaying and the same thing happened when entering Primm casino with ED-E, had to exit tell ED to wait then re-enter.

Yep, same.

I wonder if it's going to do this everywhere in the game?
