I have some questions about the reputation system. I am not sure if it's bugged out, or on purpose. For example:

Currently, my standing with the NCR is "Idolized" and my standing with the Legion is "Villainized", meaning they attack me on the spot.

I have some NCR armor, and when I put it on, my NCR reputation goes to "Neutral." Now, this seems odd to me - if anything, shouldn't they be glad I consider myself one of them? Do I need to get to a point where I actually join them to wear the armor without this happening - and can that even happen (try to avoid spoilers as much as possible, thanks!) So as it stands, I really have nothing to gain by wearing NCR armor, as the NCR themselves consider me "Neutral" while wearing it and the Legion is going to shoot me on sight either way.

On the flip side, though, when I wear Legion armor and walk to a Legion encampment, they go apesh*t on me without any notice. Isn't the point of the faction armor to wear as a disguise? No matter what I do, they attack me, even if I changed into Legion armor long before I was even in the vicinity of the town and nobody saw me put it on.

Is this a bug that needs to be addressed, or just a game feature? Because if it is a feature, it seems odd to me, as right now, the armor does me no good in either direction.
