I got this message last night after 21 hours of play and completing the Come Fly With Me quest,

"This save game relies on downloadable content that is no longer available. Some objects may be no longer available. Continue loading?" I select yes and then this pops up, "The storage device you have selected is no longer available. Load canceled."

My hard drive is fine and loads everything else. But this is on both of my saves and has stopped play for me.

Are there any serious plans to fix this or do i have to restart my game for no good reason.
If there is no patch planned where can i send my game for a full refund?

You have the well known DLC error. There are many posts on the forums about this exact issue. It is typically a result of finishing the Come Fly with me quest. If you load a save prior to finishing that quest you should be fine. Just go to Novac and access Manny's computer to continue with the main quest.

I only have 2 saves, one auto save and one other save. Both are corrupted so are you saying I am screwed?

Your game is totally destroyed. Look on the bright side...they are releasing some DLC on 21st December form 800MP.

Yea the only way they will get me to pay more for this piece of crap game is if they give me something ending with "job" .

I just got this too, just this morning. I have 3 saves and all 3 won't work. So we're really just [censored]? They aren't going to fix it or anything? [censored] this game.

Apparently this issue is also related to the "Mojave Express" boxes. I complete the "Come Fly With Me Quest" without issues now that I stopped using the Mojave Express delivery boxes. From what I can gather, the bug happens when you complete "Come Fly With Me" and have items awaiting pickup in the Mojave Express boxes (Sent from the Novac Box). I had a load right before the Come Fly With Me Quest was completed, and had items pending delivery in Goodsprings, sent from Novac, and could load this save fine, the moment I completed the quest (Literally, the very second, I tested this) I got the DLC error. I reloaded the previous file, removed all materials from the box, and tried again, and was able to proceed normally. In a game as complicated as Fallout: New Vegas, it's hard to really say if that specifically fixed it, or some other variable was met, but I no longer use the Mojave Express service, and haven't had the issue again in 5+ save files.

I have the DLC bug and I never used the Mojave boxes. I didn't even know about them. got the bug after the CFWM quest.

Look at the bright side, you only blew 21 hours on it. Some of us had 50, 60, 70 hours in it and POOF! all gone.

I would just try to return it to the place you got it. Just explain that the game doesn't work. If they try to give you another copy of the same game you need to explain that it isn't the disk that is bad, it is what is on it. If you have a cell phone with internet capabilities have a search called up (Fallout new vegas corruption) on it and show them that the game is seriously broken, all of them.

That is what I did and I got store credit for the full amount (I lost my receipt). At least now I can get a game that works.
