I CANT GET INTO THE NEW VEGAS STRIP : Fallout: New Vegas

I can't get into the new vegas strip and i've been in there loads of time's before but now it says [requires key] and i can't continue the story and im very unhappy can anyone help????? i want to continue the epic story!

Does the story tell you to go through that gate?

im haveing the same problem i cant go in strip even though i have showed the robot 2k caps and it says requires a key and ive been in there before alot and not it says i cant Bethseda needs to fix this

you guys need to head into freeside and get the guy to make you a passport or something like that or you need to have enough caps to pay your way in.

This is a known bug, I believe the only other way to enter is through the monorails...

or you could go to Camp Mcarran (or whatever its called, the airport basically) Dress as NCR troopers and use the monorail for free!

That's how i get in all the time.

I Fast Travel in. Or go through the front gate. Only did the credit check once

Put a NCR outfit on and go thru the Train

I believe that's a bug. A friend of mine had to start all over lol.

This bug happend to me too and as a workaround i killed the gate securiton frome a very far distance (i was next to the kings building) while sneaking with a sniper rifle , that way the other securitons ignored what happend and i could loot a key to the strip gate from him. I didnt find any downside to this.

You could always do quests for 'The King' and finally ask him a favour - create a passprt for you. Good XP too.
