So I was friends with the brotherhood, in fact they made me a paladin, LOL. So the NCR made me blow their base up. So I did, and I lost karma every time I killed one of those brotherhood guys. Did I care? Nope. I just thought it was lame that I lost karma.

I read that I could have made a truce with the NCR and the brotherhood however I already replaced the elder in a quest I did a while back. The "new" elder doesn't have an option to make a truce with. So my only choice was to pick pocket the cards with a stealth boy, turn on the self destruct, and then fight my way out. They all turned hostile. Even defending myself I lost karma when I was killing the brotherhood.

I just thought it was kinda lame that I lost a bunch of karma because of it, had no other option and I had to fight it out. Couldn't sneak out cuz I took rex and boone.

So because I changed the elder in an earlier quest, now I can't make a truce happen. That's hella stupid lol.
