[RELZ] The Cove

Welcome to The Cove!

First and foremost, thank you for downloading my mod :D

Story: There is a small story contained within Holodisks found in the house, and another location.

Info:
If you’ve ever played any of my other mods you’ll find this is similar in technique and style. The house itself is completely built from various pieces I find in the GECK. It’s all outdoors, no loading screens, when you if you want to throw a rock out the window you can, or throw something in a window, it’ll be in there :P

Installation:

Easy peasy, drop the file in your /data folder, activate it via mod manager or however you do it.

Deinstallation:
Shut down your computer, douse it in lighter fluid, toss in half smoked cigarette and walk away in slow motion as it explodes. (At least that’s how Bruce Willis would uninstall it)

Finding the House:

There’s a whopping big map marker for it, and you can fast travel to it…Yippee! It’s down by….Umm….Cottonwood Cove…yea…that’s it.

Credits:

Me, Bethesda, Meeeeeee ME MEEEE!

Bugs: Shouldn’t be any. If there is let me know in the comments.

THIS HOUSE IS NOT COMPANION FRIENDLY, IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED IN HELPING ME WITH A NAVMESH I’D LOVE YOU FOREVER :D

Compatibility: Should be compatible with anything.

Praise: really inventive use of statics, good location, nice item placement, looks cosy and lived-in, obviously had a lot of thought put in
Criticism: from the screenshots, it looks like the bed is sticking into the wall - can that be fixed? Also, where's "my" other rollerskate?

Downloaded!

Yay! I think this might be the third time you've commented on one of my mods PS!! (VERY EXCITED :D)

That bed bothers me so much, you have no idea. I did a ninja update, which made it much less noticeable...and then just saw your post so....

BLIZZOW (My conjuring face). New version up with no more ugly bed clipping.

I want to do a version with more cluttering...make it look more lived in...probably will here in a little while.

I have someone offering to Navmesh it for me so that's awesome, although I think it's too small for companions anyways.

Any other ideas?

Edit: Could you throw a "RELEASE" on the front of my topic pretty please? Or Relz or whatever the kids are doing these days...

Editedit: I put a new picture on the nexus showing the fixed bed for you

Yay! Much better.

More clutter = excellent! :)

There's an official tutorial by Bethesda on YouTube that shows you how to use Navmesh. It really isn't difficult whatsoever ... it's just really [censored] boring. Well, it is if you're doing a whole mansion. A little hut shouldn't take more than a few minutes.

If you're not adding in a spare bed/bedroll for companions, there should be a marker somewhere in the statics tab that marks where companions should lie down on the floor. I've used it in Oblivion and it worked fine - just plop it down next to the bed and the companion just curls up on the floor next to your bed when you retire for the evening.
